Slow Burn City is an electrifying band blending rock, jazz, progressive rock/metal, dance music, and math rock into a sound that’s as
unpredictable as it is unforgettable. With powerful vocals, intricate rhythms, and genre-bending grooves, they’re setting out to carve their place in the
modern music landscape.
The band is fronted by Michela Crescimanno-Dominguez, a powerhouse vocalist whose range and control can shake walls or hush a room with equal precision.
On lead guitar and backing vocals, Brian Mulvaney brings a lifetime of rock ’n’ roll craft and a flair for riffs that cut as deep as they soar. C. Will Johnson,
wielding a 5 string bass, takes the low end into uncharted territory with his unique, fluid style, while Steve Taylor holds it all together with drums so tight
you’d swear he has extra limbs—plus some “slamming-ass fills” that keep everyone on their toes.
The story of Slow Burn City is as unlikely as it is fitting. Will and Steve had been jamming together for years, forming the kind of locked-in rhythm section that
comes only from time and shared mountain brew pale ale. Brian, meanwhile, decided to “try out” Will for his own personal project—only for the entire project to
collapse immediately after handing him the bass job. Through Will, Brian met Steve, and suddenly the wreckage of one band sparked the fire of another. Michela
joined soon after, completing the lineup and giving the group its voice.
Now, with original material nearing completion, Slow Burn City is gearing up to head into the studio and bring their eclectic, high-energy sound to the stage.
Expect massive riffs, technical twists, unexpected grooves, and a live show that doesn’t just play music—it detonates it.
